We had a great time at a sun-drenched Harrogate Spring Flower Show, chatting to a steady stream of visitors about our decorative show border ‘Scents and Sense-ability’.
The border – designed in conjunction with Open Country members – brought sensory elements to the small space, with wind chimes, a solar fountain, painted stones and a selection of moss, plants, blooms and herbs, appealing to all senses. A path of stones, painted by our members, was an eye-catching talking piece.
We also gave out dozens of our breakfree packs full of accessible walks and trails and countryside directories.
Thanks to everyone who stopped for a chat, and to interact with our border display – it was a beautiful and memorable four days.
